Becoming a Member
Your membership at Yellowstone Country Club begins with a completed application returned to the Club office accompanied by the appropriate membership and initiation fees. Your application must be sponsored and signed by two Resident Members in good standing. Before applications are reviewed by the Board of Directors for final approval, all applicants' names are posted for thirty days for consideration by the general membership. Upon approval by the Board of Directors, you will be notified of your acceptance to Yellowstone Country Club.

Membership Options
Resident (Full - 12 - 18 month wait):
Resident members have full use of all Club facilities, including use of the golf course without payment of green fees. Resident members have voting rights and the right to hold office. Only Resident members shall have any right, title, or interest in the property or assets of the Club in the event of dissolution of the Club or otherwise.
Resident Applicant (Openings Available):
When the Resident membership class is full, applicants for Resident membership will, upon Board approval, become Applicant members.
Applicant members have full use of the Clubhouse, dining facilities, tennis courts, swimming pool and the social activities of the Club. Golf privileges are available at times designated by the board. Golf practice areas are available for use at all times. Applicant members do not have voting rights or the right to hold office.
Junior (Full - 12 - 24 month wait):
Junior memberships are available to persons 21 through 33 years of age. Junior members have the same privileges as a Resident Member, other than voting or holding office.
Junior Applicant (Openings Available):
When the Junior membership class is full, applicants for Junior membership will, upon Board approval, become Junior Applicant members.
Junior Applicant members have full use of the Clubhouse, dining facilities, tennis courts, swimming pool and the social activities of the Club. Golf privileges are available at times designated by the board. Golf practice areas are available for use at all times. Junior Applicant members do not have voting rights or the right to hold office.
Non-Resident (Openings Available):
Non-resident memberships are available for a person who does not reside within a one hundred (100) mile radius of Billings, Montana for more than 60 calendar days. Non-resident members shall be entitled to the use of all Club facilities, except use of the golf course shall not exceed four (4) days per calendar month. Additional rounds in any calendar month are available; the Non-Resident rules and green fees shall apply.
Activity (Openings Available):
Activity memberships are available for those who are interested in full use of the Clubhouse, dining facilities, tennis courts, swimming pool and the social activities of the Club. There are no golf privileges.
Social (Openings Available):
Social memberships are available for those interested in the dining and social activities of the Club. This membership offers food and beverage privileges and use of the clubhouse facilities for social and business functions.
The application process takes approximately 45-60 days. Applications for membership are approved at Board Meetings held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Applications must be turned in at least 30 days prior to a board meeting to be considered.
